The background of Christianity

Christianity is the belief of God the father, Jesus as the Son of God, and the Holy spirit. But to today there are different forms of Christianity, you have traditional hardcore Christianity and a modern. Christianity is also the belief that Jesus was crucified on the cross to offer the forgiveness of sins and was resurrected three days after his death before going to heaven.

Christianity is classified as monotheistic because it's the belief in one God.

Christianity has two divisions, Eastern and Western theology. These divisions have six branches Catholicism,Protestantism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Anglicanism, Oriental Orthodoxy, and Assyrians.

Christianity has moved from place to place so relocation diffusion would fit Christianity and that is only because Christians they move to spread what they believe.

Baptism comes out of Jewish practices. John the baptist was the first one in the bible to perform a baptism. John the baptist came up with the idea of baptism, and the idea came from Jesus mother and Jesus brothers.

Jesus is an important figure of Christianity. Jesus that is from the Greek word Christos that translate into a Hebrew term Messiah which means "the anointed one" according to Christians Jesus is important Present and past.Jesus is also important to Christians because they believe that he is their savior, they believe that he saves them from all of their sins, through his death and then coming back to life.

The bible is sacred writing to Christians. The bible is to tell about past history and it is also another form to try to convert others to the Christian faith. Christianity have a couple of holy places where they can have their religious rites.1.Basilica,Roman catholic 2. Cathedral, of a bishop within the catholic Orthodox and Anglican churches. These are just a few of the holy places. A church can also be a holy place as well.

For Christians their place of worship is the church that is open to its community and those that are Christians.

Christianity is practiced all over the world in churches and some Christians believe that you do not have to practice it just at church but in their day to day life as well.
