By comparing the primary-source newspaper and the secondary-source Instagram post, this report finds differences in the information provided by the two about the financing and credit provided by the United States in World War I.Figure 1 is from an Instagram post about the United States during World War I. This post was written by a user called United States First World War. This user posted on October 6, 2021, indicating that in a neutral position, the United States has provided a lot of money and credit to the United Kingdom, France, and other countries. The United States did this to increase the chances of Britain, France, and other countries winning the war against Germany and other countries (United States First World War). According to the post, the United States provided money and credit to the Allies to help them win, not for any other reason.

This story includes several of the pieces you might use in your own story–like paragraphs, buttons, separators, and more. To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. Both products share similar storytelling capabilities, so if you are familiar with StoryMaps, you'll feel right at home with ArcGIS StoryMaps. You are invited to migrate your account and content to ArcGIS Online where you can continue storytelling with maps. With ArcGIS Online, you’ll get access to ArcGIS StoryMaps and the easy-to-use story builder you are familiar with, plus so much more!

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
