The 18th Amendment prohibited the "manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors..." and was ratified by the states on January 16, 1919. In October of the same year, the Volstead act, made to enforce the 18th, was passed. People wanting alcohol prohibited stems from the massive growth of the brewing industry. In 1883, the Anti-Saloon League was formed to fight against the antics that saloons had put into place to earn more profit, including gambling and prostitution. Saloons were deemed by some as offensive and noxious institutions.

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
