The Mapping of Pan-African Movements

Pan-Africanism is the idea that people of African descent all have common interests and therefore should be unified

Pan-Africanism was an attempt to unite all people of African heritage, whether they lived inside or outside Africa, and make a sense of brotherhood and collaboration. I found it very interesting to learn about all of the leaders who started the movements and what they did to help. There were movements established all over but I listed the three, New York, Africa, and Jamacia. In those places, there were people who started movements that helped the voices be heard and shared common interests. Overall, the Pan-African movement helped launch the struggle for rights and equality for black people.
