This research looks into how my family moved from Armenia to Los Angeles, California. It shows me how my ancestors were able to settle down in new country even though they had to deal with tough problems like politics, history, and the economy. What strong, adaptable, and culturally aware group they are. Their trip takes them from the rough terrain of Armenia to the busy streets of Los Angeles. We might learn more about the problems many people have with diaspora, identity, and connection if we look into the specifics of my family's trip.To fully understand the many problems that migrant groups face, it is important to look at movement through the lens of social inequality. bad economy, not having enough resources, or not being able to get to them are all things that can make people move. These steps help us understand how built-up problems can affect travel stories. Then, we can use what we've learned to make rules that make neighborhoods nicer places to live. If we know how migration and social inequality affect each other, we can fight for fair opportunities and make sure that the opinions of groups that aren't heard enough are heard in the conversation about migration.

To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. Both products share similar storytelling capabilities, so if you are familiar with StoryMaps, you'll feel right at home with ArcGIS StoryMaps. You are invited to migrate your account and content to ArcGIS Online where you can continue storytelling with maps. With ArcGIS Online, you’ll get access to ArcGIS StoryMaps and the easy-to-use story builder you are familiar with, plus so much more!

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
