This virtual hike was an attempt at distracting myself from the doom and gloom of injuries that prevented me from a thru-hike of the Pinhoti Trail (a 335-mile trail in Alabama and Georgia) and my back-up thru-hike of the Oregon Coast Trail this fall.Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I used the time I would have spent hiking to develop this story map and curate the hike for myself and all of you during the month of October. I wrote my daily blog, as I usually do on trail, and added interesting and fun details to enhance each day’s walk.I&apos;ve hiked many sections of this trail before and have made many visits to points along the coast in the 20 years that I&apos;ve lived in the state, so this &quot;hike&quot; was one of discovery and memory.

This story includes several of the pieces you might use in your own story–like paragraphs, buttons, separators, and more. To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. Try changing the paragraph font, and see what happens to this text.

Quotes use the theme’s title font, but you can also choose one of several different styling options.

Your theme’s accent color is used in both quotes (see above) and separators (below). If you add an express map to your story, your drawn features will use the accent color too.
