Listen to This Story (16:00)The huge white and black and white and brown dogs love to run. It is an awesome sight, watching their paws dig into the snow, totally focused on moving ahead, a sled slicing through the snow behind them. They are in their environment in what appears to be an utter state of bliss, and yet absolutely present. In March 2022 I was in a dogsled for the first time in my life observing this glorious scene play out on Umbagog Lake on the border of Maine and New Hampshire. A white landscape with a bald eagle soaring above in the sun-soaked sky as if to put an exclamation point at the end of a “wish you were here” note on a postcard from New England.

This story includes several of the pieces you might use in your own story–like paragraphs, buttons, separators, and more. To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. Try changing the paragraph font, and see what happens to this text.

You can style your paragraph text to use bold, italics, and bold italics, so you can emphasize important text accordingly. These come pre-packaged with the fonts you’ve chosen, so there’s nothing extra you need to configure.

Quotes use the theme’s title font, but you can also choose one of several different styling options.

Your theme’s accent color is used in both quotes (see above) and separators (below). If you add an express map to your story, your drawn features will use the accent color too.
