Students should be working during high school. Contrary to popular belief, more students work part-time jobs than you probably think. Having a job in highschool is pretty self explanatory, it&apos;s a job you work while in highschool. Students with jobs during highschool were interviewed, and the following is what was learned about how they balance their work and school life.  To start, many students work in part time jobs, so they have a lot of flexibility in scheduling. Some students' strategies to work during the school year whilst balancing their classes is to only work during the weekend. The advantages of working only during the weekends is that students can focus most of their time on academics during the week, and work during the weekend to make some money and kill some free time. A downside to this though is that this leaves students with little or no time at all to do things outside of work. Like hanging out with family and friends, and going places.&nbsp; Another strategy some students use is working after school. This is similar to working the weekends only, but a little different. Students who work after school have less free time for homework and other activities, but normally have increased profit and work hours than students who only work weekends . The way they combat the lack of time for activities and work is by prioritizing homework and other assignments during school hours, so it's all done and it doesn't have to be done at home. This strategy isn't better or worse than the other, but just another way students balance their time. This strategy might hurt students more than help since they may not be focused on the task at hand which could negatively affect them later on since their focusing more on other classes work.

This story includes several of the pieces you might use in your own story–like paragraphs, buttons, separators, and more. To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. Try changing the paragraph font, and see what happens to this text.

Quotes use the theme’s title font, but you can also choose one of several different styling options.

Your theme’s accent color is used in both quotes (see above) and separators (below). If you add an express map to your story, your drawn features will use the accent color too.

After one year, you will need to purchase an ArcGIS Online subscription to continue using ArcGIS StoryMaps. Check out the StoryMaps <link>retirement page</link> for more information on the ArcGIS Online subscription options.

ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. Both products share similar storytelling capabilities, so if you are familiar with StoryMaps, you'll feel right at home with ArcGIS StoryMaps. If you do not migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you can save any content you would like to keep before the June 30, 2025, retirement date. The options for saving content include saving stories as a PDF and saving frames using a screen recording.

You are invited to migrate your account and content to ArcGIS Online where you can continue storytelling with maps. With ArcGIS Online, you’ll get access to ArcGIS StoryMaps and the easy-to-use story builder you are familiar with, plus so much more!

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
