Sumpit are a traditional weapon used by the Dayak tribe in Kalimantan, Indonesia. These sumpit were used to hunt animals in the forest before the introduction of modern weapons, Sumpit are made from hardwood trees, with a length of up to 2 meters, a trunk diameter of 2 cm, and a hole diameter of 1 cm (Muli Umiaty Noer & Putri Nurbaizura, 2016). The sumpit (damek) are made from bamboo or old palm trees, which are smeared with poisonous tree sap before being used for hunting. Sumpit are also used in kleput matches, which involve physical exercise and shooting skills at varying distances (Darmadi, Hamid 2018). Apart from being used as a hunting weapon, sumpit are also an important part of Dayak culture. The Dayak Kenyah, on the other hand, are known for their expertise in making traditional weapons, musical instruments, carving, and various traditional arts. They also have folklore and oral history, as well as traditional architecture that is an important part of their cultural heritage (Andi Farid Hidayanto & Fuad Azmi, 2018). Thus, sumpit and the Dayak Kenyah tribe have a significant role in cultural heritage and traditional life in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. Both products share similar storytelling capabilities, so if you are familiar with StoryMaps, you'll feel right at home with ArcGIS StoryMaps. You are invited to migrate your account and content to ArcGIS Online where you can continue storytelling with maps. With ArcGIS Online, you’ll get access to ArcGIS StoryMaps and the easy-to-use story builder you are familiar with, plus so much more!

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
