Cultural aspects were in &quot;Temporary Matter&quot; but at the same time, I felt a distinct sense of disconnection for something that was not exactly my way of life, I have to say immigration and cultural displacement. By the virtue of her poignant representations of these matters, Lahirihas made an impact on such readers who have gone through similar experiences or have common cultural backgrounds as mentioned. Nevertheless, for the readers whose life path has not come across such issues, the connection failed to be established. The difficulties that writers faced while dramatizing the characters&apos; experiences ranging from immigration&apos;s challenges to uprooting them, cast obstacles by which I could not connect fully so that I could immersed in their world. This disconnect was hardest to reconcile when the testimonies were laid against foreign cultural backgrounds of the times, and I struggled to fully connect with their misery and experience it on a personal level.

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
