Growing up in a Filipino American household opened my eyes to the variety of holidays we would celebrated throughout the year, including Lunar New Year. It was especially fun to come together as a family to learn about all the many traditions we participated in for Lunar New Year’s Eve.To start the new year in the best light, some of our traditions were to turn on all the lights, open doors, and windows, and ensure the house was spotless. But my favorite part was all the fantastic foods we'd get to eat, especially the desserts; whether you follow practices from the Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian—or another South or East Asian—perspective, you know one can never skip dessert when it comes to Lunar New Year celebrations.

To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. Your theme’s accent color is used in both quotes (see above) and separators (below). If you add an express map to your story, your drawn features will use the accent color too.
