My freshman year of college at Georgetown happened during COVID, so we weren't allowed to live on-campus. Since I still wanted to be in DC, I ended up living off-campus in a townhouse in the heart of Logan Circle. Both because nightlife, museums, and most indoor activities were unopened; and because I am a fiend for pastries and cappuccinos, my primary hobby involved wandering around the city and scouting various coffee shops and bakeries to try their pastries and espresso drinks.
