Before delving into the complexities of the Israel-Palestine conflict, I must preface that as a Muslim American, I may have inherent biases. However, it is crucial to clarify that this paper aims to maintain a neutral tone, presenting accurate information while minimizing personal bias. The Israel-Palestine conflict is deeply rooted in historical grievances and competing claims to land and identity; it has defied resolution despite numerous international efforts. Decades of failed negotiations, sporadic violence, and ongoing occupation have perpetuated animosity and mistrust between Israelis and Palestinians, complicating prospects for peace. As a researcher, I intend to bring to light information about the most recent rise of the conflict to show why and how it affects global citizens and what role we can play in resolving it.
