Monumentales figuras de bronce adornan con gracia las inmediaciones del Museo de Antioquia en uno de los lugares más icónicos y tradicionales de Medellín: El Parque Berrío, sede del único lugar al aire libre en el mundo que cuenta con 23 esculturas del Maestro Fernando Botero, las cuales fueron donadas en el 2002 a la ciudad y se convertirían en la excusa perfecta para inaugurar la Plaza de las Esculturas, o como todo el mundo la conoce en Medellín, La Plaza Botero. Allí, las esculturas de bronce son expresión viva de la sensualidad que el maestro Botero quiere expresar con su obra a través del volumen.¿Pero quien era el maestro Botero?- el maestro nació en Medellín el 19 de abril de 1932 y en este 2023 cumplió 91 años, de los cuales 72 se los dedicó a su carrera artística. Se ganó su primera mención en el Salón Nacional de Artistas a los 19 años, donde en el 2018 es reconocido por sus personajes de formas redondas y voluptuosas​ inspirados en el arte precolombino. Su obra Naturaleza muerta con mandolina, que data de 1957, constituye la primera manifestación de su trabajo inspirado en el arte precolombino y popular.

To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. Both products share similar storytelling capabilities, so if you are familiar with StoryMaps, you'll feel right at home with ArcGIS StoryMaps. If you do not migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you can save any content you would like to keep before the June 30, 2025, retirement date. The options for saving content include saving stories as a PDF and saving frames using a screen recording.

You are invited to migrate your account and content to ArcGIS Online where you can continue storytelling with maps. With ArcGIS Online, you’ll get access to ArcGIS StoryMaps and the easy-to-use story builder you are familiar with, plus so much more!

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
