Periodista y escritora española nacida el 25 de octubre de 1953 en Madrid, España. Julia Navarro fue periodista en el ámbito de la política, habiendo trabajado en diversos medios de comunicación españoles. A lo largo de su carrera, Navarro se ha destacado por su habilidad para combinar la literatura con temas históricos y sociales, convirtiéndose en una de las autoras más exitosas en lengua española. Durante muchos años fue corresponsal en diversos países, como Estados Unidos, México, India y diversos países del África subsahariana.En 2004, lanzó en España su primera novela, "La Hermandad de la Sábana Santa", que se convirtió en un gran éxito literario del año al alcanzar medio millón de ejemplares vendidos. A partir de ese momento, Julia se consolidó como una autora de renombre en el género de la novela histórica y de intriga y, ese mismo año, el libro fue lanzado en Portugal.
