I feel the need to shed some light on the title. It is borrowed from a Kikuyu children&apos;s book by Ngugi wa Thiong&apos;o, &apos;Njamba Nene na Mbaathi i Mathagu&apos;, which translates to &apos;Njamba Nene and the Flying Bus&apos;. This incredible story follows a group of schoolchildren on a bus excursion to a museum in Nairobi. They were surprised when the school bus took off and dumped them in an unknown area. Njamba Nene was courageous enough to guide the other youngsters through difficult undertakings until they reached their homes. Why buses? Nairobi is known for its artful and eclectic buses. Locals have all sorts of names: &apos; nganya&apos;, &apos;matwana&apos;, &apos;jav&apos; and more. Sure, there are minivans called &apos;matatus&apos;, horses, tuk tuks, trains, and motorbikes, but nothing beats buses. They are art on the move, discos on wheels and often, for me, a safe space where I hang out with strangers when commuting.

This story includes several of the pieces you might use in your own story–like paragraphs, buttons, separators, and more. To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. Try changing the paragraph font, and see what happens to this text.

Your theme’s accent color is used in both quotes (see above) and separators (below). If you add an express map to your story, your drawn features will use the accent color too.

ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. Both products share similar storytelling capabilities, so if you are familiar with StoryMaps, you'll feel right at home with ArcGIS StoryMaps. If you do not migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you can save any content you would like to keep before the June 30, 2025, retirement date. The options for saving content include saving stories as a PDF and saving frames using a screen recording.

You are invited to migrate your account and content to ArcGIS Online where you can continue storytelling with maps. With ArcGIS Online, you’ll get access to ArcGIS StoryMaps and the easy-to-use story builder you are familiar with, plus so much more!

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
