First stop, Haworth! I visited this West Yorkshire town in December 2022, and it remains one of my favorite places in England to date. I went during my Sophomore year winter break after having taken my first English class at Carleton, introduction to creative writing. That class really solidified my decision to major in English, and was also when I started to take myself seriously as a writer. I was visiting family in Leeds for a week, and my mom&apos;s cousin offered to take me for a day trip to the Brontë Museum. At this point, I had only ever read Charlotte&apos;s Jane Eyre, but I was eager to explore where she and her family lived. As the plaque reads, the Brontë family is not buried in the churchyard that you walk past on your way to the museum, but under the church itself. Still, it was pretty surreal to walk through the graveyard and see the church. The Brontë sisters and their family, except for poor Anne, were buried here. It sounds silly, but it was a reality check of sorts for me, that they were real people, and not just names in a textbook. I&apos;m not sure what I believe happens after death, but I wondered how they would feel if they knew that people come to visit their final resting place. Flattered, maybe, but I would imagine it might be a little weird, too!

This story includes several of the pieces you might use in your own story–like paragraphs, buttons, separators, and more. To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. Your theme’s accent color is used in both quotes (see above) and separators (below). If you add an express map to your story, your drawn features will use the accent color too.

ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. Both products share similar storytelling capabilities, so if you are familiar with StoryMaps, you'll feel right at home with ArcGIS StoryMaps. If you do not migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you can save any content you would like to keep before the June 30, 2025, retirement date. The options for saving content include saving stories as a PDF and saving frames using a screen recording.

You are invited to migrate your account and content to ArcGIS Online where you can continue storytelling with maps. With ArcGIS Online, you’ll get access to ArcGIS StoryMaps and the easy-to-use story builder you are familiar with, plus so much more!

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
