Paris has a deep and intimate connection to the tango music of Argentina. I didn&apos;t know this when I first embarked on my tango in Paris adventure. This map will tell the story of my first beginnings and also an overview of the history of tango music in Paris. There is an ever-growing network of Argentines and French-born Argentines who work in this fascinating universe. For 16 years I worked as a tango violinist in this network, but none of this would have happened if it hadn&apos;t been for one man. Juan José Mosalini, an incredible bandoneon virtuoso and generous pedagogue who began the Paris (French) school of tango music education in France in the 1980s.For my final undergraduate performance exam at the Birmingham Conservatoire, I chose to play le Grand Tango by Piazzolla. there was something about the way the music drove me, like running through busy streets with a pounding heart, only to stop suddenly and feel like one was flying from the rooftops - like some kind of musical parkour or a soaring bird. It wasn&apos;t like the music I had played before. It was different. It felt more alive, more real, more raw.

This story includes several of the pieces you might use in your own story–like paragraphs, buttons, separators, and more. To get started, select a section of the styling panel and make some adjustments. As you adjust different elements, you’ll see this story adjust to demonstrate how they look. Try changing the paragraph font, and see what happens to this text.
