In the opening 7-15 seconds of the trailer, Miles introduces himself using diegetic audio, swinging through the city in his Spider-Man suit. A scene significantly developing the story for the film is shown through, a 14-second sequence halfway through the trailer, as character roles and positions get clearer through dialogue. Opening with Miles in his room relaxing on his bed, interrupted by Gwen Stacy, displayed through a medium shot, hovering above him through a portal. Shortly after, a scene shows Miles going through a portal, wearing his Spider suit; these scenes reveal a diversity of new characters, backgrounds, and an entire community using a master shot. Quick cuts accentuate the scenes, allowing more dialogue to emerge through the diegetic audio of the characters. The use of varying camera angles—low for Miguel and high for other characters—highlights the power dynamics among them. A train scene swiftly transitions to Miles swinging through a rain-soaked city, symbolising heightened emotions. The sequence intercuts action, intimate moments, and more, possibly reflecting the complexity of Miles' emotions and mindset following an intense shared experience with other characters. This cuts into a scene, capturing Miles in a low angle shot, emphasising a shift in power, accompanied by his confident expression and tone through diegetic audio. Supported with intense drum beats and lyrics like “Don’t stop me now.”; played throughout the whole of these scenes.
