Located in southern Florida (Figure 1), Everglades has a unique ecosystem due to its geographical location. In the context of global ecological changes, Everglades faces threats of sustainability and biodiversity loss. This project aims to use GIS technology to analyze and integrate data related to Everglades. Provide recommendations for Everglades restoration plans through hydrology, soil types, weather patterns and forecasts, biodiversity and migration, natural disasters and their forecasts, climate change, flora and fauna, human habitats, and industrial impacts.The main objectives of the project include assessing water inflow and outflow patterns within the Everglades, analyzing historical data to predict future water flow trends, identifying and mapping different soil types, and assessing their impact on the ecosystem. In addition, the project will conduct weather analysis and integrate weather forecast models to assess the potential impact of weather on the ecosystem. Biodiversity and migration patterns will be carefully studied, especially the mapping of habitats and migration routes of endangered species. In addition, the project will use GIS technology to predict the impact of natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods, assess the effects of climate change and propose mitigation strategies. Detailed analysis of flora and fauna will also be carried out in the project to map their distribution and health. The impact of human land use and industrial activities will also be evaluated to understand their impact on the Everglades ecosystem. The final experiment will use the MCDA method to overlay the above data to give the scope of urgent restoration in the Everglades area.

ArcGIS <link>StoryMaps</link> is the professional version of StoryMaps and is available as part of <link2>ArcGIS Online</link2>. If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
