The first Moe’s Southwest Grill opened on December 9th in Atlanta, Georgia. The name is an acronym for “Musicians, Outlaws, and Entertainers,” and is largely themed around music, specifically around legendary musicians who are deceased with their licensed playlist being tailored around this. The menu matched the atmosphere of the restaurant by having the food items on the menu be named after various pop culture sources, with Seinfeld having the most representation. The early menu’s colorful and fun design also contributed to the restaurant&apos;s fast-casual style by being “goofy” in an inviting way in favor of a more professional menu. The food itself was fairly standard for a Tex-Mex restaurant, with it having everything from burritos to tacos to fajitas. As the menu was first released in the early 2000s, prices for entrees were roughly 5-6 dollars, ranging from one-half to one-third of modern-day prices. (Moes Southwest Grill)
