In this 1920-1939 assignment, we will discuss how Ho Chi Minh was one of the most influential and most known leaders of Vietnam. He ultimately was known for leading Vietnam to their own country's independence. He founded the Indochinese Community party and later turned into the Vietnamese Community Party, when they gained more independence. This event that happened between the timeline, will be the basis for my final project of how my grand parents escaped Vietnam during the war.The pdf above comes from a primary source on why he wanted to found the party. Further evidence proves that he was a powerful figure that led Vietnam to one of its peaks during the 20th century in terms of independent dominance. During World War II, which we are learning in class, the party went against French and the Japanese. These two clashes went in Vietnam's favor leading to Vietnam being a Democratic Republic with Ho Chi Ming being their president.
