Shanghai, a city ranked first in China by a GDP of $680 billion in 2021, with a 25 million population, is long regarded as one of the best cities for living nationally and globally. At the end of March, 2022, when Omicron spread in the communities silently, Shanghai was locked down. From Pudong (the east side of Huangpu River) to Puxi (the west side of Huangpu River), from 5 days to over a month, Shanghai should have gone through the winter into the sping while this year, no one in Shanghai could truly appreciate the beautiful season. Locked down, in addition to the virus, regular Shanghai residents started to worry about the most basic requirements of life. Above all, they are worrying about not having enough food to eat. When the lockdown time was extended, the shortage of daily necessities, medicine, etc., also began to exert a larger impact on people's life.
