The Pokémon franchise is a massive media franchise known and loved by millions of people around the world, Pokemon was first created in Japan in 1996 by Satoshi Tajiri, with the help of his friend Ken Sugimori who was an illustrator. Satoshi grew up collecting bugs in his hometown of Machida, Japan when he was a young boy, this combined with his passion for video games fueled his inspiration for one of the main concepts of the Pokemon games, catching Pokemon. The franchise&apos;s first release was a set of two video games for the Gameboy system that were named Pocket Monsters Red, and Pocket Monsters Green. These role-playing games put the player into a made-up world where humans and Pokemon lived and thrived together. Pokemon are creatures that can be found in the wild and captured by the player, also known as the trainer, and then battled with other trainers to level up their Pokemon and evolve them into bigger and stronger Pokemon. The Pokemon franchise has released many other games since this point, some with similar concepts as the first releases, and some with completely new ideas. An example of this is the release of Pokemon Go in 2016, this game took the world by storm and was a massive success for Pokemon.

If you migrate your account to ArcGIS Online, you will have access to your existing stories, collections, and themes via ArcGIS StoryMaps, as well as an array of additional ArcGIS capabilities. (Your frames will be migrated and accessible when support for frames is added to ArcGIS StoryMaps.)
