Design a template
Share story frameworks that other storytellers can build upon
StoryMaps is a great way to tell your own personal stories about the world, but you can also make stories available to others to change and build upon. Use templates, a particular type of story, to create a story "skeleton" that other storytellers can use to swap in or add their own content. A new, template-specific Instructions block allows the author of a template to provide guidance for those who will be creating their own story from that template. Templates are ideal for group settings, where multiple StoryMaps users will want or need to create similar stories. For instance, a neighborhood volunteer organization could use templates for its members to profile their favorite places in the neighborhood. Or a book club could set up a template so that participants can each write their own review of the current book.
